I was in New Jersey in early 2006, traveling between Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and New York City, New York, during a People to People World Leadership Forum. For more information, please see my education page.

I returned to New Jersey in September of 2013 with Mr. Mike. We visited Atlantic City to attend the 2014 Miss America competition. On the Thursday of our arrival, we stopped at the Miss America store in The Pier Shops at Caesars; went on a dress shopping mission; and attended the final preliminary competition night.

On Friday, we visited the Miss America statue and displays at the Sheraton; the walk along Michigan Avenue; and spent some time along the boardwalk.

On Saturday, we returned to the Miss America statue at the Sheraton and spent more time on Michigan Avenue. We then took some pictures on the beach; visited the Miss America display at the library; and watched the Show Us Your Shoes Parade.

On Sunday, we met with former Miss America winners and attended the final night of the competition.
